The most important form of privacy that you can immediately take control of is your credit report. To receive a Free Credit
Report every 4 months, simply click here. You are entitled to 3 free credit reports each year, so spread out your requests and you will get
a free report every 4 months. This is very important so that you have a chance to catch any suspicious activity on a
regular basis.
Step #2 - Opt-Out Of Credit Reporting Agencies Marketing Lists
Next, you will also want to opt-out of each credit reporting agencie's marketing machine! These agencies are making
billions by providing marketers and other corporations with a fresh flow of data on a monthly basis. Your privacy request will keep
them from selling your information to marketers, but anyone who you want to do business with (insurance companies, lenders etc) will still
have access to your credit report.

Step #3 - Contact Your Bank and Credit Card companies, to Opt-Out of their marketing
lists.
You should contact your current credit card companies and your bank to have them remove you from their 3rd Party Marketing
Lists. If you call the number on the back of your credit card, you should be able to handle it over the phone. Another option is
to go to your credit card's web site and click on the Privacy Policy.
